Palm Sunday
We began Holy Week today with a wonderful Palm Sunday celebration. It was a joyous occasion on a beautiful day. We offer our prayer for each of you during this holiest season. May you be blessed during this time as we all remember and relive the tremendous sacrifice made for each of us.
Holy Thursday
During the Triduum, the community engages in holy silence. However, on Holy Thursday, we engage in conversation during dinner to commemorate the Last Supper of Christ. Our Holy Thursday Liturgy was beautiful, with the washing of feet, the transfer of the Blessed Sacrament and Adoration.
Good Friday
Our Good Friday Liturgy was one of sadness and woe as we commemorated the Passion of Jesus. It was a beautiful service as we recreated the Passion. The solemn veneration of the cross is always a moving part of our Liturgy.
Holy Saturday
Holy Saturday was a beautiful celebration. We were blessed to have many family members and friends who joined us for the evening.
Easter Sunday
Alleluia! Alleluia! He is Risen! It was a terrific end to Holy Week at Our Lady of Grace Monastery. The Chapel was filled with excitement and glorious jubilation at the resurrection of Jesus. It was a day we will remember for a very long time.
